New Ins

I happened to be one of those "unfortunate" kids that learned from a violently early age that Santa is not existent. Ever since I earn my own living and I enjoy being my own Santa. One thing I hate to love when Internet shopping; waiting for the postman to arrive, with my precious box in his hands (picture myself like a gollum -ehm, a beautiful one- jumping around, saying "my precious,  my precious, so you may get my point). This month I had to think about my spring wardrobe and get some missing goodies. I love companies that specialize in one product, and I always think that they can do nothing wrong about it, as it's their own thing. Pretty Ballerinas is one of those companies, designing the most beautiful ballerina pairs worldwidely. The certain company is an affordable substitute to Repetto, creating equally simple lined pairs, in a plethora of materials and colours. Not to mention their girly aesthetics that can transform every female to an urban ballerina, as well. As for the second pair, I have already mentioned in a previous post that I came across a beautiful Dream In Green pair that I couldn't resist. It's comfortable, it's studded and its really cute, made of course by eco-friendly materials. I ordered both pairs from Spartoo.Gr on Monday and -hey presto!- here they came on Friday. It's 30 degrees today in Greece. Guess what I'm gonna be wearing!

Enjoy your weekend,

Summer Strolling

Just like every other girl in the world, shopping is my favorite pastime. I can spend endless hours going up and down the streets looking for that perfect something. No matter if it is a dress, a piece of jewellery or a leather perfecto, I never get tired until I come across that piece that will make my heart skip a beat. Unbelievable as it may seem, two things I always h-a-t-e buying; jeans and flat sandals. Buying Jeans is hateful because I have a really Mediterranean silhouette; that is, my curvy bum combined with my tiny waist make my life a real hell, as no pair of jeans seems to have the right fit. Plus, flat sandals always look weird to my eyes. I don't know if it is my toygirl size, but I feel like a 6 year old everytime I take a look at my feet. Even if I find a really interesting design, I always end up with another pair of wedges. But the burning hot greek summer, along with the slippery paths of the greek islands leave no other choice than buying a pair, just for these days when walking barefoot is preferable to any kind of shoe. Dream In Green is an eco-friendly shoe company which creates biodegradable leather shoes, comfortable and easy to combine. Their designs are not what one would call "cutting-edge" but these little pairs stole my heart for good. In fact, I've already bought the pink one, so stay tuned. Summer is so close.

Big, noisy kiss.

New Gym Bags

When I was a kid I used to think that by the time I grow up I 'd have the time in my hands to do anything that would please me, anytime I wanted to. Time passed by so quickly, and it may have proved not be a doctor as everyone used to say, but a great teacher instead. There's no greatest time of independence, than the one you share in the warmth of your family, when everything is cooked, washed, done magically (mums are fairies, for real).

Despite my overexhausting pace of life (which means that I have to plan one week beforehand to have a coffee with my friends) one thing I always try to find some time for: exercise. It doesn't matter whether it's cardio, pilates, weigh lifting, or whatever. These endorphines are supposed to be a present to myself just to keep my life going. Of course, girls will be girls and nothing is supposed to be done without the style factor. That's why I needed to replace my black Bjorn Borg gym bag with a new one. Maybe get a new towel too. And some colorful trainers.

Keep on smiling,

The World's Loveliest Accessory

If you happen to know me in person, or follow my blog for a long time you'd surely know the thing I have for bags. I either splurge on extra luxurious brands or buy value for money leather ones from vintage markets; see, my grandmother was a WWII child, not only didn't she keep a bag from that time, but I still wonder in what age did she actually get her first one. On the other way round, my mother was a real fashion icon during her times, but she really wanted to get rid of everything when she got bored of it. As you can imagine, I am the only fashion wise female among my ancestry and I know that a quality, simple lined bag will be easily transacted to the following generations; and -be sure- I plan to build a hell of an accesory heredity for my daughter to acquire. My collection consists of many "classics" that I have paid for by m-y-s-e-l-f ever since I was an 18 year old, and I never regret paying that much on something that makes me feel good any time I look at it, hanging from my hand/ shoulder/ wrist. Spartoo.Gr features some great styles that will surely amaze you with their charm. I fell in love with those Abaco Paris, as a design like this shall never betray you.
